SNTCSSC, in collaboration with Presidency Alumni Association, organized an Orientation Seminar for UPSC CSE aspirants on 06.02.2023 at Presidency University. Dignitaries who graced the seminar were Shri Prasad Ranjan Ray, IAS (Retd.), former Addl. Chief Secretary of West Bengal, and also an alumnus of Presidency College, Shri Surajit Kar Purkayastha, IPS (Retd.), Chairman, SNTCSSC, Prof Jyotirmoy Pal Chaudhuri, Academic Consultant, SNTCSSC, Prof Arun Kumar Maiti, Dean of Students, Presidency University, Shri Kaushick Saha, IAS, Secretary, Presidency Alumni Association. The students were enthusiastic about taking up civil services as a career option after graduating from the University, and the seminar provided them the much-needed guidance to proceed with their dreams. The session went on for one hour thirty minutes and 155 students across departments such as Political Science, History, Sociology, English, Economics, Bengali and Statistics participated in the Orientation Programme.
