The SNTCSSC Batch 2023 was formally inaugurated in a programme held at Confederation of Indian Industries – Suresh Neotia Centre of Excellence for Leadership (CII-SNCEL), Salt Lake on 5th July, 2022, Tuesday. Two young IAS officers of 2016 batch, Shri Ansar Shaikh & Shri Kempahonnaiah, were invited as special guests at the inaugural session. They both made it to the final list of UPSC CSE from very challenging backgrounds. Shri Ansar Shaikh hails from a very humble background and Shri Kempahonnaiah is visually impaired. The arduous journey of their preparation, filled with impediments and their ultimate success overcoming those, touched the newly admitted students and inspired them to start their preparation with enthusiasm.

6. Inauguration Ceremony of SNTCSSC 2022 Batch – 27.11.2021

The SNTCSSC Batch 2022 was formally inaugurated in a programme held at Vidyut Bhawan, Salt Lake by Dr. H.K. Dwivedi, IAS, the Chief Secretary to the Govt. of West Bengal on 27th November 2021, Saturday.

The following dignitaries graced the occasion: 

  • Shri Alapan Bandyopadhyay, IAS (Retd.), Director General, Netaji Subhas Administrative Training Institute (NSATI), and Member, CEPM,  Government of West Bengal
  • Shri S.K.Thade, IAS (Retd.), OSD in the rank of ACS, BCW Department, Government of West Bengal
  • Shri Soumen Mitra, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, Government of West Bengal
  • Shri Santanu Basu, IAS, Chairman & Managing Director, WBSEDCL, Government of West Bengal
  • Shri Manish Jain, IAS, Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department and Member, CEPM, Government of West Bengal
  • Shri Supratim Sarkar, IPS, Commissioner, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, Government of West Bengal
  • Md. Ghulam Ali Ansari, IAS, Secretary, Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department, and Member, CEPM, Government of West Bengal

8. MoU with Presidency Alumni Association (PAA) 

SNTCSSC entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Presidency Alumni Association (PAA) (86/1, College Street, Kolkata 700073) on 10.8.2021. PAA comprises scholars, academicians, and civil servants who will deliver subject-based special lectures, arrange mock interviews and assist in other associated scholarly tasks required by the students of SNTCSSC.
